That's not the case with Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, a likable and action-packed romp through the wilds of Africa that's just as much fun as the movie. It makes the most of the film's larger-than-life characters, keeps the gameplay diverse and interesting, and offers more than enough content to keep fans entertained for quite some time.
Credit for this happy state of affairs deserves, in all probability, to be laid squarely at the doors of the developer, renowned California studio Toys for Bob. They cram the levels with fun, careening from gameplay style to gameplay style with all the abandon of one of the movie's carefree stars.
So, you'll hop through canyons hunting monkeys, drive jeeps, play musical chairs, roll up garbage, and chase down runaway lion cubs -- and that's just in an hour-long segment of one of the game's middle levels. It's all like that, and you never know where it's going to turn next. Although individually each segment is shallow, they're always over before it really starts to show. And in the event you do get into a rut, you can always switch to a different level for a break.
With military precision, the penguins have repaired an old crashed plane--sort of. Once aloft, this unlikely crew stays airborne just long enough to make it to the wildest place of all--the vast plains of Africa, where the members of our zoo-raised crew encounter species of their own kind for the very first time.
I am a huge fan of latest released mega blockbusters and never buy any DVD. Really, I do wonder how people can spend their hard earned dollars for something that can be availed without paying anything. Yeah, exactly, you can download Madagascar:Escape 2 Africa without paying anything, but just a membership is required.
